A Billboard to honour the life of Kiernan Forbes & how Kiernan honoured God in one of his Facebook live videos

A Billboard to honour the life of rapper AKA Kieran Forbes in William Nicol Drive, there seems to be a controversy on who put up the billboard, non the less the person who really did , I say your gesture of honour towards AKA is historical and heartfelt by those who loved the rapper including , helping you to raise the billboard very high right here on our platform, with undeniably heartbreaking truth that it does touch hurtfully realising that the SA music industry has lost such a great inspiring musician, other facts surrounding his life might have shocked us, however seeing him recovering him self musically showed how much he had dedicated him self to the love of music and determined to keep on multiplying and sharing his talent. With some of the videos going around after his passing, there is one that really captured my attention on his live videos on Facebook where he shared a prayer before taking his meal, and how he specifically thanked God for more life; it really shows that within him there was an acknowledgment of who God is in his life and thanking him in recognition of God’s faithfulness, saying despite it all all glory belongs to God, wow with that said I hope that little seed of faith he planted in God rests him In Peace in God’s hands, RIP Kiernan Forbes🫶🕯️
Your music will live on as you left us quite a jam.

Ayanda Aza releases Phendula Mali Ke in 366 seconds

Ayanda Aza is a South African musician and song writer, releases a single album Phendula mali ke with a video published on YouTube today, the single is produced by a young South African Amapiano producer The Big. It is inspired by Ecclesiastes 10:19 money answers all things , bread is made for laughter, wine gladdens life.

Ayanda Aza says  she is directed by the word of God in her life  and believes that money should not control us but we must control it, as we can not serve two God's money is meant to serve us and pay everything that we need it to pay for us so that we can enjoy God's goodness in the land of the living,

She narrates how her team during the video shoot expected her to have Champaign party with friends on the video scene as it talks about wine, but she chose to have a scene in church partaking in the Holly Communion, as she is the believer of Christ and that also partaking in the holly communion in remembrance of the sacrifice that Christ done for us it gladdens life and the  bread representing the body of Christ that was broken for us it gladdens life and the word of God states that a believer can not just live by food only '
I"I believe that with this song money will change how it controls people and start doing what it is meant to do and serve us , we can not lack and frustrate because of how the money relates to us"

PUSH BRINGS FESTIVAL TO ELDORADO PARK

South African Spring season Brought us PUSH COMMUNITY FESTIVAL

After all the celebrations that took place on heritage day I spoke to Mpho and Mashudu of PUSH festivals, as I wanted to get to know the push behind such a beautiful initiative that took place in the township of Eldorado park I found out that this amazing team came up with a fun day in a way to try address all the societal issues that the community of Eldorado park faces. PUSH festival happened to bring happiness to the community to motivate positivity within the community. Mashudu answered all the questions that we had about their initiative below;

• WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND THE PUSH SPRING DAY CARNIVAL?

The PUSH Spring Day Carnival was founded last year 2021 with the aim of bringing change within the Eldorado Park community (children) through addressing societal issues that affect the community and merging it fun activities.

The Eldorado Park community is commonly associated with all the negative things, like substance abuse and gangsterism amongst others so hosting the carnival was motivated by all the social ills we are facing and we as PUSH wanted to spread cheerfulness, happiness and positive energy in the community and just give people a different energy that will motivate our children (the youth) and everyone else within the community. The Carnival really has brought out the “inner child” from everyone and to make community aware that we still haveto allow children to be children. #Children’sLivesMatter.

• SHOULD WE EXPECT MORE OF IT YEARLY?

YES! When the Spring Carnival started last year (2021) it was with the aim of hosting a successful event for that yearnot thinking even of what impact the 1st carnival will have on our community members, so we then decided on hosting it annually so definitely there is going to be more PUSH Spring Day Carnivals.

• DO YOU HAVE PARTNERS YOU WORKED WITH ON THIS EVENT?

Yes, on the 1st event we worked on it on our own (staff and caregivers)The vision came from our manager Lorna Fisher. The 2nd PUSH Spring Day Carnival was when we had other stakeholders on board, and they really helped in making the event a success.

Our Wish as PUSH is to own this project and it should be anannual event that children look forward to. The carnival came with a lot of challenges which helped us learn, especially because we want to go bigger annually, and it will depend on the resources (monetary resources). We as PUSH would appreciate new partnerships in future.
