A young woman with a heart of gold, her name is Mpho Nyangintsimbi, a 29 year old medical technologist by profession qualified in clinical pathology, from Hammanskral. She is a founder of a NPO called Nyangis foundation which focuses on donating sanitary towels and school uniforms to less privileged kids.
I met this young beautiful woman of stature at Alex FM where she was about to go on air for a radio interview , to talk about her road to winning a Miss Bachelorette South Africa title,That she is currently competing for.
She is one of the top 16 finalist's on the Miss Bachelorette pageant , where each finalist needs to raise R15k to help build other facilities at the safety home and also help with daily needs such as toiletries and food.
I asked her, what other projects her NPO is involved in,
She tells me that: "I also have a few programmes running under my NPO namely #Babymamarise #adoptanaddict #takeagirlchildbacktoschool.
About Miss Bachelorette South Africa;
she says that:
"Miss Bachelorette South Africa is a women empowerment project focusing on women ages between 25 and 50 who are unmarried and serves as a role model to young women and young girls".
I asked her to tell me more about her interest for participating in Miss Bachelorette South Africa;
she continues explaining to me that:
"I've always been passionate about empowering women and i found this as the best platform to empower, equip and inspire more women. Miss Bachelorette South Africa has also adopted a safety home called Thyrest restoration home which focus on women from different socio-economic background who were raped, abused, human trafficked and also sex workers who wants out".
