Male Fashion model Olwetu Magodla

Getting to know Olwetu Magodla

Chatting with Olwetu about his modeling interest, this isn't the first time the modeling topic comes up between me and him Lolwetu Magodla.

Infect that's exactly how we first knew each other in 2012 when he told me about his interest to Join ReflectSA models.

Now that Lolwetu is finally part of Reflect SA models, we all come to know about this handsome young man from the Eastern cape.

I ask Olwetu to tell me about his background growing up,

He says:

I grew up in the dusty streets of Mdantsane that is in East London in the Eastern Cape. Growing up I had a lot of friends, I used to make friends everyday, like I said I'm a peoples person, very socialite.. Although life was rough there, meaning it wasn't safe (crime) I stayed in Mdansane until I was 13 years, my mother decided to move to Cape Town. It wasn't easy to adapt, but life in Cape Town was kinda fast every1 had something to do, that's when I decided to go for my modeling interest, something that I always wanted to do, something that I love.

Who is Olwetu?

He tells me:
"Olwetu is a peoples person who's all about life and everything about it. I believe I'm a great guy, down to earth and always have a smile on my face. I love camera, very weird for a guy but its just how I am, I love modeling and I believe models aren't born perfect that's the truth behind it, that most people don't know about".

When did you come to JHB?

He says:
"In 2012 I moved to Joburg looking for opportunities in the modeling industry. I'm still doing it but I want to take it far, I aim to be a professional fashion model".

Now that we all know about Olwetu, I have no doubts that this young man has surely taken the right steps to join
ReflectSA models, and is here to make it big in the modeling and fashion industry.

I ask him
When did you realize that you want to do modeling?

He says:
"My interest for modeling started when I was still in Primary School in 1998, I always entered for Mr. Personality and always took the 1st place. Besides the height I believed that I have a face for it. It didn't end there I took it to high School doing fashion shows, the modeling have gone way beyond my expectations".

Who/what inspires you in modeling?

He tells me:
"Getting to meet professional models like Vincent Ntunja who inspires me".

'Coming from the township became my force to succeed' said Mr Ntunja. #Re Quotes Olwetu

So I also believe that modeling will be my big break. I believe I am meant to be a professional fashion model".
