Akhona Vundisa serving food at the Hospital

Sharing Mandela day 67 minutes taking care of others needs

That's the spirit of Ubuntu capable of archieving even more beautiful good
things in life. The spirit of giving. Tintswalo Baloyi doesn't only have
passion for modeling but also for sharing what you have with others. This
is what she had to say, as she tells me about spending her 67 minutes for
Madiba:"Hi I spend mi 67 minutes voluntering on giving people free cooked
soup at Randfontein it was amazing".

The Spirit of giving is like a gift that Tata Mandela wants us all to
inherit as his legacy to us all. 'Sibusisiwe isandla esiphayo'. 'blessed is
the giving hand'. That might just be the Mandela magic!

For good hospitality when you visit this small town in Herschel
'Sterkspruit'

How to apply day makeup

Image:© Leonid & Anna Dedukh/ Fotolia

Concealer: Apply it first to the innermost corners of the eyes and evenly
spread it with your index finger blending it to the surrounding skin. Cover
any other skin defects, such as pigment spots or pimples.

Foundation: Apply evenly to the whole face always striving to achieve as
natural look as possible.

Powder: Apply freely with a brush to fixate makeup.

Eyebrows: First remove the extra hairs with tweezers if necessary.
Underline the eyebrows with eyebrow pencil and brush them upward and
outward with an eyebrow brush. You can use eye shadows instead of eyebrow
pencil. Apply them with a small applicator brush and smooth out with your
finger to achieve a softer and more natural look.

Eyeliner: Use it to highlight the eyes with the appropriate color.

Eye shadows: Use natural tones over the eyelids and darker tones in the
fold of the upper eyelid and the outer corner of the eye.

Mascara: Apply to eye lashes in order to lengthen or thicken them as
needed.

Blush: Should be applied over the cheekbone with upward strokes.

Lipstick and lip liner: Use lipstick one tone darker than your natural lip
color. Trace the lips with a pencil in the same tone. Mix the pencil with
the lipstick using a small lipstick brush to create a more natural look.
Finally add a touch of lip gloss to make the lips juicy and attractive.

Choose what you put on your skin

Image:© Valua Vitaly/ Fotolia

Not caring properly for your skin can be as bad, or sometimes even worse,
than not caring for it at all.

The first thing you should know is to never use summer lotions during the
winter, because they contain water, which absorbs into the skin and freezes
once it comes into contact with the cold weather, thus ripping the epidermis
cells and leading to premature aging. This is why in winter you should use
thicker and oilier lotions designed for cold, windy weather.

If the cold weather catches you unprepared, there is a homemade solution
for it – rub your face with a few drops of olive oil and it will be
perfectly protected.

Give notice to vegetable oils which can be very good for treating sensitive
skin, enlarged pores and mixed skin types. They also moisturize and protect
the skin, stimulating the growth of new cells.

For dry and sensitive, as well as for aging skin, rose oil can work
wonders. It rejuvenates and regenerates the skin while improving its
elasticity. Jasmine, apricot and peach oils also soften and hydrate.

Porch OH my Gosh style!

My Porch OH my Gosh style moment at the durban July, is the inspired way
that Thato Muwale chose to wear a Neck piece bought at Mr.Price as a head
band, I find this sooo innovative and fresh, setting a trend. I actually
could not identify it as a neck piece, so I ascked Thato if she designed
her face musk, only to hear that not at all; she bought a neck piece and
decided to wear it as a head band. Thato has a sense of style, taste and
elegance look. This is what Thato said to me to add on her head band style:
"I wanted the whole outfit to represent all my style.simple, yet
chic, elegant, sophisticated,n I added a vintage n funky look with my hair
style and the neckpiece".
